If you sell through Amazon, retailer portals like Whole Foods or Target, or have NSF certification, your label accuracy is already subject to third-party scrutiny at renewal. Building the internal audit practice aligns your compliance posture with the external pressure you will face regardless.
Finally, retain your label development documentation as part of your product history file. FDA investigators conducting inspections under 21 CFR Part 111 can and do request the data that supports label claims.
